We live in a world where there are countless ideas, gadgets, and pursuits that compete for our attention. The problem is that none of these produce life. On the contrary, they often leave us more in need and with a greater hunger for something truly satisfying.
In the book of Colossians, the Apostle Paul pushes through the fog of what the church in Colossae found themselves pursuing to come to the only Life-giving solution to humanity’s dilemma - the person of Jesus Christ Himself. Come journey with us through the theological and practical implications of faith in Jesus who is our “Hope of Glory”!
Dave grew up in the north of England, where he first met Jesus in 1984 when neighbors invited him to the local "football" stadium to hear Billy Graham share the Gospel.
A decade later he attended Bible school at Capernwray Hall before heading to Liverpool to study Genetics at college.
After graduating, Dave was invited to join the Bible school and holiday team at Capernwray where he served for 10 years. He has been married to Sadie for 21 years, and live in Sparks, NV, with their three children, Noah, 19, Paige, 17, and Felicity, 13.
God led Dave to further studies in genetics. Since moving to the US in 2008, he has led various forensic DNA teams for the San Francisco Police Department and the Washoe County Sheriff's Office in Nevada. He currently oversees the North American team of DNA scientists for a large biotechnology company.
Dave is passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus, having served as a pastor for several years in the San Francisco Bay Area, and having many opportunities to teach God's Word at a couple of US Torchbearer centers.
Dave loves travelling with his family, playing the guitar, skiing, and running.

There will be a $149 non-refundable deposit after registration. Remaining balance will be due one month before your trip. If the week is already filled, your registration will be added to our waiting list.

10:30am – Enjoy a quiet day at TL or explore the many activities just a few miles away including a high ropes course, rafting, Rocky Mountain National Park, downhill mountain biking, shopping in Winter Park, etc!
5:30pm – 7:00pm – Formal Dinner for the adults (Children fed separately)
