ASCENT WEEK #2

JULY 21-26, 2024

Week Specifics:
Romans (Chapters 5-8)

This week's Bible classes will be on Romans 5-8 as we focus on the life changing truths of justification and sanctification. Romans is considered the pinnacle of the New Testament, and chapters 5-8 are the core of the book. All that God has done for us in Christ (justification) and all that He is prepared to do in and through us (sanctification) is put on the table in these chapters. Christ’s substitutionary death is the basis for peace with God. His substitutionary life is the basis for knowing the power of God.

This is the nuclear core of the New Testament’s teaching on the Christian life! The truths revealed in these chapters are both essential, revolutionary, and fundamental. Join us as we study them together.

Speaker:
Charlie McCall
