Guest Programs FAQ’s

1. What does the price include?
The per person, per night price and the family rates both include three meals a day, towels and linens in the rooms, use of the tubing hill, ice skating rink, broomball rink, hot tub, games room, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court and pond, shuttles to and from local activities, winter and summer activity hosts, organization of outdoor activities and spiritual program.
2. What does the spiritual program include?
Our staff will lead a 5-10 minute devotion after breakfast and if you desire, will do evening teaching after dinner for your group. You are welcome to do your own teaching as well.
3. What kinds of summer local activities are there?
Horseback Riding, Rafting, Mountain Biking, Hot Springs, Hiking, Rocky Mountain National Park, Golfing, Rock Climbing and Repelling, Fishing, Boating on Lake Granby or Grand Lake, Sightseeing of Grand Lake, and Winter Park Resort including alpine slide, human maze, mini-golf, climbing wall, and all the terrain you can hike!
4. What kinds of winter local activities are there?
Skiing, Snowboarding, Snow Blading, Snow Mobiling, Hot Springs, Dog Sledding, Snow Shoeing, Cross-Country Skiing, Sleigh Rides, Ice Skating & Hockey, and Tubing & Sledding.
5. What do the rooms look like?
We have ten rooms that vary in size. Our smallest rooms sleep four and have a king bed and a bunk bed. Our medium size rooms sleep six with three sets of bunk beds. Our larger rooms sleep eight and nine, both with a combination of bunk beds and twin beds. Each room has it’s own bathroom, closet area, porch or balcony and is decorated in knick-knacks traditional for the area. Most rooms have a rock fireplace.
6. Do you have a meeting room?
Our meeting room holds up to 80 people comfortably sitting on chairs, and up to 30 sitting at tables for a classroom setting. The meeting room is also supplied with overhead projector and screen, sound system and microphones, podium, big screen TV with computer hook-up and VCR.
7. How far is Timberline from the Winter Park Resort?
Timberline is a 15-minute drive from the base of Winter Park Resort. We are a 20-minute drive from Sol Vista Ski area, and a 40-minute drive from Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park.
